Following the success of her first workshop at Spa La Manga Club, on Saturday 5th May, yoga coach Noemí Solana returns to the Spa for a second Nâda Yoga workshop.

What is Nâda Yoga?

Nâda Yoga is one of the most ancient disciplines and practices in the history of humanity. NÂDA means vibration in Sanskrit and alludes to the sacred origin of the universe. Mantras, chanting, music and the use of sound in general, have been used to reestablish the balance and harmony of body, mind and spirit. Mantras and sound have been used in Yoga tradition to aid the progressive development of mental strength and energy flows in order to favour alignment of the body.

This workshop is designed to help reveal the healing powers of inner sound through Nâda Yoga, the aim of which is to unblock and release our vital energy flow, enhancing inner peace, strength and confidence.

Workshop programme

- Expression through movement, releasing tension and getting in touch with ourselves.

- Breathing exercises

- Stretching through a series of asanas (yoga poses) and mudras (hand poses), designed to help rediscover our inner sound

- Meditation accompanied by a Tibetan singing bowl

- Chanting of mantras

In total the workshop will last around 2 and a 1/2 hours.

To book, call Spa La Manga Club on 968 33 8101 or email spa@lamangaclub.com

One of the main objectives of Nâda Yoga or Sound Yoga is to be able to unblock and encourage the free flow of each human being’s vital energy, facilitating access to the inner self, giving rise to a sense of calm, strength and security.

One of the aims of this discipline is connection and conscious listening to our inner sound and the ability to reestablish harmony, balance and healing in those parts of the body that need it.
