Premiering this weekend… Only 2 days to go…

March 30th, 2012

At La Manga Club we are all eagerly awaiting the premiere of the new Luigi’s restaurant in Las Lomas Village. Sunday 1st April sees the reopening of the popular Italian restaurant following comprehensive refurbishment.

The new Luigi’s boasts a brand new look that evokes the romance and ambience of Italy in La Dolce Vita, along with a new menu in which the tantalising flavours of Tuscany are the stars of the show.

The warmth of the materials, the intimate lighting, the tasteful décor… every single detail forms part of the storyline, a common thread that underlies each and every moment, all of which has one simple aim: to provide a unique backdrop for time with friends and family, for enjoying Italian cuisine at its best – exquisite, Mediterranean, natural and delicious. Somewhere welcoming and infinitely surprising.

Luigi’s – the legend

Some say Luigi arrived in La Manga Club in 1973. As a great lover of sport and the countryside, he soon fell in love with the place. His only luggage was his family’s fiercely guarded secret: the recipe for the best pizza dough in Italy; thin yet, at the same time, inexplicably tender. And so, he combined his two great passions in life by opening the original Luigi’s restaurant in La Manga Club, sneaking out between shifts to play his favourite sports, becoming a familiar figure with his characteristic ‘tache.

Of course, there are others who say that the story of Luigi is something else altogether…

But the real legend lies in the people who have enjoyed the flavours of Italian cuisine in this emblematic La Manga Club restaurant over the years… Stories of love, laughter and friendship… Tales of times gone by and stories in the making…

Tell us your Luigi’s tale on www.facebook.com/lamangaclub !

To experience the new Luigi’s for yourself, you can book your table on +34 968 33 1234 or Resort Ext. 8770

Luigi’s is open 7 days a week from 18:30 to 23:30 hrs.

P.S. Don’t forget, three more of La Manga Club’s most popular restaurants also reopen this weekend on Saturday 31st March: La Cala, Sol y Sombra and Uncle Sam’s.

March 23rd, 2012

Next week sees the reopening of a number of La Manga Club’s most popular restaurants.

On 31st March, we’ll be welcoming the return of  La Cala, the Spanish resort’s spectacular seafood restaurant, perched on the cliff overlooking a picturesque Mediterranean cove. On the the same day, families are also in for a treat, with the reopening of Uncle Sam’s, La Manga Club’s popular American restaurant, renowned for its succulent burgers, ribs and truly wicked desserts. For lunch al fresco, Sol y Sombra, the pool restaurant at 5* Hotel La Manga Club Príncipe Felipe, is just the ticket.

And on 1st April, the real star of the show will be unveiled – the all NEW Luigi’s… Watch this space for more about that exciting premier!
